The Quayhouse is a converted grain barn situated on the banks of a wooded tidal creek 2 miles from Padstow. The public footpath 'The Saints Way' runs past The Quayhouse, it takes about 35-40 mins to walk into Padstow, joining the Camel Trail at the Iron Bridge in Padstow. Alternatively it takes about 5-7 mins to drive into Padstow..

The Quay House is a perfect spot from which to explore the picturesque local villages, you can go fishing, bird watching, boating, or simply walking in the peaceful surroundings of the tidal creek, or nearby woods and villages, walk The Saints Way, cycle The Camel Trail visit The Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, Lanhydrock House or Bodmin Moor, or simply relax and enjoy the magnificent beaches or the outstanding natural beauty of the rugged Cornish coastline. If you play golf then Trevose Golf Club or St.Enodoc are a short drive away.

 

No need to take the car as just a minutes saunter down the lane from Quayhouse is a lovely bistro.The Old Mill House serves up a delicious evening menu, Sunday lunch and afternoon cream tea.
