The Camel Trail

The Camel Trail is arguably the most successful recreational multi use trail in the UK, providing access to the beautiful Cornish countryside along a disused railway line between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow.

Port Isaac

Is a beautiful fisherman's village and provides the set for the popular television series, Doc Martin.

Eden Project

The Eden Project is only about 25 minutes drive from Quayhouse. Why not check out the possibilities of a trip to see the largest greenhouse in the world.

Rick Stein

We don't really need to say anything about Rick Stein except to say that his restaurant is about 2 miles from the accommodation at Quayhouse.

Lobster Hatchery

This is an attempt to raise small lobsters from eggs and to introduce them into the sea after they have grown to a point where huge predation is overcome. Fascinating to see the hatchlings and parents together. A must for youngsters. Its about 2 miles from the accommodation in Padstow.

Surf School Harlyn Bay

Want to learn to surf ?. Why not book onto a course with Chris Rea everything is supplied except the weather!

Extreme Academy Sports

Lanhydrock House

This house and gardens is an absolute must for young and old alike. In springtime the rhodo's, azaleas and camellias are superb, in summer a gentle stroll around the house and extensive gardens with a picnic is what we suggest.
